Enhance Video Player
Our basic video player has been experiencing a high drop-out rate of 27% among our unique users. Furthermore, users in low bandwidth countries are experiencing buffering issues when trying to watch videos, leading to a high level of dissatisfaction among our users, with 55% of them expressing their dissatisfaction with the video player.

As the product manager, our task is to improve the video player experience for our users by addressing the drop-out rate and buffering issues, as well as addressing the high level of user dissatisfaction with the current video player.

In order to address these issues, we implemented several solutions. First, we implemented adaptive streaming to ensure that the video player adjusts the quality of the video based on the user's internet speed. Second, we enhanced the video player with features such as picture in picture, autoplay, player speed, offline viewing, fast forwarding, and the ability to like and comment on videos. These features were designed to improve the overall user experience and provide greater flexibility in how users can watch and interact with our videos.

Our changes resulted in a 10% increase in video completion rate by unique users. By implementing adaptive streaming, users in low bandwidth countries are now able to watch videos with fewer buffering issues, leading to an improved user experience. Additionally, the added features have increased user engagement and satisfaction, resulting in a lower level of dissatisfaction among our users. Overall, our changes have successfully addressed the drop-out rate and buffering issues, as well as improved the overall user experience and satisfaction.
