Search Engine Optimization
The search engine of the website was basic and people were dissatisfied with it because it lacked basic features. A survey was conducted which revealed that 75% of people were not getting the results they were searching for.
As a product manager, the task was to improve the search engine's functionality and user experience to increase user satisfaction.
In response to the survey results, the product team introduced several new features to enhance the search engine's capabilities. These features included autosuggestion, autocorrect, fuzzy search, filters, and pico search.

The new features proved to be successful in improving the search engine's functionality and user experience. The introduction of autosuggestion and autocorrect features helped users to easily correct their search queries and get relevant results. The fuzzy search feature enabled the engine to return results even when the search query was not exact. The filters feature allowed users to refine their search results based on their preferences. Finally, the pico search feature allowed users to search for specific phrases or terms within a larger document or webpage.

As a result of these improvements, the search engine saw a 10% increase in unique search volume. This increase in usage indicates that the new features were effective in meeting the needs of users who were dissatisfied with the previous search engine's lack of basic features.
